This advanced course builds on foundational cardiac knowledge to deepen understanding of coronary artery disease (CAD), myocardial infarction (MI), and their complications. Students will develop skills in interpreting 12-lead ECGs, identifying changes associated with MI, and localizing areas of myocardial damage. The course includes comprehensive coverage of bundle branch blocks, arrhythmias, and pacemaker theory, along with recognition of pacemaker tracings and malfunctions. Additionally, students will explore the classification, actions, dosages, and adverse effects of common antiarrhythmic drugs, preparing them for effective clinical decision-making in coronary care.
