LIBR 6089

Broaden your educational experience to include the varied services of various types of libraries in a different type of library than your first placement. Supervised experience in libraries is essential in the development of library skills.

Notes:

  • It is recommended students complete Indexing and Subject Analysis - LIBR 5082 prior to or concurrently with placement.
  • Based on the Canadian Library Association document on the education of library technician programs, which governs our program, students cannot complete their Field Placements in their place of work and preferably not in the institution where the program is located.
