Healthcare Provider CPR & AED (may also be referred to as Basic Life Support)

Elevate your emergency response skills with our Healthcare Professional (HCP) CPR & AED course, designed for healthcare professionals and first responders. This course is designed for healthcare providers and encompasses all the content from CPR Level C & AED. It also introduces more advanced equipment, such as bag-valve masks, and places greater emphasis on team-based rescue scenarios, circulation assessments, and other advanced life support techniques.

Whether you're a paramedic, firefighter, nurse, or a student in a healthcare training program, this course prepares you to act confidently in life-threatening situations—individually or as part of a team.

What You’ll Learn:
High-quality CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants
Single-rescuer and team-based rescue scenarios
Use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
Ventilation with barrier devices and bag-valve-mask
Multi-rescuer coordination and airway management (including jaw thrust)
Relief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction)
Recognition and response to cardiovascular emergencies, including heart attack and stroke

Student Materials Include:
Student manual.
To receive a course completion card, a written exam must be administered in addition to the skills test.
Tuition includes a $29.71 non-tax deductible fee.

Once registered, you are academically and financially responsible for your course(s). Failure to attend or access a course does not constitute withdrawal.

You must officially withdraw or transfer by the deadlines noted on our website.
