This course will develop your foundational understanding and skill of a normal health assessment and physical examination of the healthy adult client. You will explore common abnormal findings in physical examination and develop knowledge and skill related to holistic, inclusive, and culturally safe health assessment and physical examination approach. You will demonstrate, document, and communicate a complete holistic and comprehensive head to toe assessment of the healthy adult client. This course includes theoretical and virtual lab components.
*Note, Durham College’s PSW to PN bridge program does not require students to complete the HASS 6580 - Health Assessment course. Other college’s may require this course and we encourage students to confirm your college’s entrance requirements prior to enrolling into this course.

This course is only available to students who have been accepted into the PSW to PN Bridge program. If you register in this course without receiving your acceptance letter you will be removed from the course and charged our standard withdraw fee.
