In this course, students will identify nursing concepts and theories optimal for nursing care. Students will explain the nursing metaparadigm and theoretical principles of nursing science. Students will apply the nursing process to identify and plan holistic (client-centered) nursing care for clients with a variety of health conditions, with consideration to health promotion, health education, and the determinants of health. Students will identify dimensions of human needs with an emphasis on the significance of self-responsibility, cultural diversity, and individuality.

Admission Requirements
This course is only available to students who have been accepted into the PSW to PN Bridge program. If you register in this course without receiving your acceptance letter you will be removed from the course and charged our standard withdraw fee.
