Ontario Nursing Transformation Initiative (NTI) To bolster the healthcare workforce and provide quality care to Ontarians across all age groups, Ontario requires skilled nurses. The Ontario government is supporting the Ontario Colleges Nursing Program Transformation initiative, which provides flexible study options that lead to rewarding nursing careers. Transition to Practice Starting April 1, 2025, anyone applying to become an RN or RPN for the first time in Ontario will be required to meet a Transition to Practice (TTP) requirement. PSW to PN Bridge This bridge offers online courses for Personal Support Workers (PSWs) interested in becoming Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) in Ontario. PSWs have the option to enrol in these online courses, leading to advanced entry into Practical Nursing programs at Ontario colleges
