The Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) is a baseline regulatory requirement to perform securities, mutual fund and alternative funds transactions in many financial services positions. For individuals interested in entering this profession completing the CSC® certification is an essential first step.
By successfully passing both CSC® 1 & 2 exams fulfills the base securities licensing requirement for IIROC and the provincial regulatory and MFDA licensing requirements for mutual funds sales, alternative mutual funds products, managed future funds, exempt securities and labour-sponsored investment funds.

Durham College offers two prep courses, one for each exam to prepare you to challenge the CSC® exams.
Students MUST pay the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) material and exam fee to access the textbook and course materials to complete these courses (please visit www.csi.ca for details).
