DCSA presents: Black History Month events

The Durham College Student Association is pleased to host the following events for Black History Month.  

  • Art Therapy with Georgia Fullerton from Durham Black Artists’ Collective 
    Wednesday, February 8, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Student Centre. Register here
  • Facilitated Wellness Workshop led by Breanna Chanelle 
    Friday, February 10, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Student Centre.  Breanna Chanelle is a social worker and writer who will be leading an affinity space used to unpack experiences of Black individuals specifically, focusing on anti-Black racism and mental wellness. Drop-in, no registration required. 
  • Moderated Discussion with Tre Sanderson 
    Wednesday, February 22, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oshawa campus – room TBD Tre is a DC alumnus and the first Black winner of Top Chef Canada. Register here.
