What is the ISL program?
The ISL aims to engage students in mutually constructed, active learning opportunities designed to enhance personal development and create well-rounded, educated community leaders.
Members participate in the creation of a leadership action plan with their coach, discover the multiple facets of effective leadership through interactive and thought provoking sessions, practice newly developed skills through various opportunities for civic engagement, and attend the annual Student Leadership Summit to further enhance their leadership tool box.
Recruitment is now closed.
ISL accepts new members in January, May, and September of each academic year.
Student Leadership Summit
Each year the ISL program proudly hosts a Student Leadership Summit, a one day conference on student leadership open to all Durham College Students.
Registration for the Student Leadership Summit is $10 and features a series of concurrent sessions, an engaging keynote speaker, lunch, and a conference padfolio.
