From getting to know the ins and outs of your faculty to making new friends, orientation will help you feel at home and ready to thrive.
We’re excited to invite all new students to Faculty Welcome events on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.! Our faculties will host events designed to help you create connections and network within your academic community, along with orientation sessions specific to your program.
To help you start strong at DC, we also offer a variety of online and in-person workshops and events, including first-year campus tours, DC services workshops, and much more. Explore our events!

Mark your calendars—your first day of classes is May 5, 2025. During the first week of school, you’ll find our friendly DC Ask Me volunteers on campus, easily recognizable in green T-shirts, ready to help you with any questions and provide directions.
