New Centre for Innovation and Research now open!

The new Centre for Innovation and Research (CIR) is now open at Durham College.  

The CIR brings together research, innovation and experiential learning into one shared space to support meaningful collaboration, creative thinking, networking and partnerships which will better serve our students and community. 

Here, you will find four of our six applied research centres: the AI Hub, the Centre for Cybersecurity Innovation, Mixed Reality Capture Studio and the Social Impact Hub. The space also houses the Experiential Learning Hub, including the co-op coordinators, event space, meeting rooms and offices. 

If you are a student research assistant, a co-op student, or a student looking for information on how to get involved, you’ll find everything you need at CIR.
