They can connect with admissions regarding their place on the waitlist or make an appointment with our student recruitment team to discuss alternative programs that they may be eligible for. Are there programs or pathways at Durham College for students who have completed ENG4E? Our Community Integration through Cooperative Education program is a two-year inclusive education option designed for students with intellectual disabilities or other significant learning challenges. It offers modified course content and supported field placements to help students build confidence and life skills. You can read more about the program on its webpage. Please note that space in this program is limited, and applications should be submitted by February 1 to ensure equal consideration. Additionally, Durham College offers Academic Upgrading, which helps students aged 18+ obtain Grade 12 equivalent C-level courses to qualify for admission to post-secondary programs and improve their literacy and numeracy skills. The Access and Support Centre (ASC) at Durham College provides confidential support services, including academic accommodations, for students with an identified exceptionality or experiencing a medical or mental health concern.
