The Durham College (DC) community is advised that, as part of our commitment to maintaining optimal systems and operations, updates to DC’s Internet service and related systems will occur on Wednesday, December 29 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the infrastructure upgrades, users may experience a very brief interruption in service, lasting no more than a few minutes. The following will be impacted briefly: Email might be delayed; some messages might be queued and/or retried. COVID Entry Screening app. DC mobile app and Live Chat. MyDC The VPN will be available, but with brief, intermittent loss of connectivity (a few seconds at a time). Secure FTP. Campus Library systems. Eduroam As a result of the impacts to the COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire, students requiring access to campus on Wednesday, December 29 should be prepared to: Present a paper or digital copy of their second vaccination receipt to security personnel. Verbally screen for COVID-19 symptoms. Please note: DC is not currently equipped to scan the new provincial QR code proof of vaccination. SHARE:
