I ♥ DC BECAUSE…

I love Durham College because my professors create a great environment with how they teach. My classes have all been great and the program is amazingly organized, fun and an excellent learning experience. I wanted to study Culinary to pursue my love of food and cooking, and have realized how much more I can accomplish with this program.

I ♥ DC BECAUSE…

I love Durham College because of the support and opportunities provided to us. On top of the amazing course selection and teaching staff, students are offered enrichment in many other areas, such as leadership, employment, volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved. For anyone who is thinking about coming to Durham College, I will always advocate GETTING INVOLVED! It’s great experience and will definitely make your time here at Durham College a memorable one!

I ♥ DC BECAUSE…

I have found that the teachers at Durham College are genuinely concerned with the progress of their students. Education comes first at Durham College and the professors reflect this in how much they go out of their way to encourage and assist student success.

I ♥ DC because…

I applaud President Don Lovisa for his ever-present effort to set the bar for DC staff in making the student experience a priority. From a simple smile while he hands out pizza to listening and addressing a students concern. Lovisa continues to amaze me in his humble presence and willingness to serve students.
Professors such as Lynn Gough, Craig Andrew, Kris Felstead and Paul Welsby have set an example I hope to follow, in professionalism, knowledge or understanding. They have individually helped me to grow not only as a student but also as an adult. Thank you to those professors who have gone the extra mile to see me succeed.
Finally, this institution has given me the tools to intellectually grow, individualize and find my path in life. For that, I heart DC.

I ♥ DC because…

I heart DC because it moves with us. DC is an institution that grows with its student body. From the programs offered, to how the programs expand and grow with the students, it all helps re-enforce a feeling that my time here matters. It matters to me and my future, and for the college and its desire to get better with every year. I heart DC because it keeps up with me as I move toward my future.
