The new annual summer esports camps ran for the very first time at the Durham College Esports Arena. Varsity GM Bill Ai lead the camp, with 11 campers who had a week of gaming fun and skill improvement. While at the arena, the campers were able to meet new people and develop their team building skills as they competed with and against each other to improve their Fortnite technique. The campers also experienced different team building exercises, as well as nutrition lessons and technical skill improvement within the game. At the end of each camp day Bill would elect one lucky camper as the camper of the day. They were chosen by skill that day, or whether they were just the most welcoming and fun to be around. Overall, the campers had a wonderful time and hope to sign up for next years summer camp! Be sure to keep an eye out as more information will be available early 2020!
