DC Late Skate

What better way to embrace our Canadian winter than late-night ice skating? Join us at the Campus Ice Centre, right next to Vaso Field. Ice skates are available on-site or you can bring your own equipment. Whether you are a beginner or have experience, all skaters are welcome to join this event celebrating the time-honoured Canadian pastime. Enjoy a post-skate snack or hot cocoa at 2200 North.

Important Event Notes:
Please be prepared to show your digital student ID for event entry; you must prove you are a current DC student.
This event is only available for DC students; you cannot attend with non-DC friends or family.
This is an inclusive event; if you are a student with a wheelchair, you can participate on the ice with your wheelchair and with assistance from another student. Please note that those who choose to go on the ice and those who assist are accepting the risk and responsibility.

By registering for this event, I am aware that participation in it involves certain inherent risks, dangers, and hazards, which may include but are not limited to, the hazards of traveling by bus, automobile, or other means, accidents, injuries, or illnesses, including communicable diseases, the forces of nature and weather, as well as exposure to customs and practices of societies different from my own.
I also understand that Durham College cannot accept responsibility for the acts or omissions of independent agencies, including the operators, providers of food services and accommodation, and any medical treatment required. I understand that I am responsible for my own health, medical, dental, and property insurance. I fully assume all costs, risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage, expense and other loss, delay or inconvenience resulting therefrom or from acts or omissions of Durham College, its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers and successors.
I hereby agree to waive any and all claims that I have or may have in the future against Durham College, its directors, officers, employees, agents and volunteers (all of whom will be hereafter referred to as “Releasees”), arising directly or indirectly from the event. Further, I agree to release, discharge and indemnify the Releasees from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense that I, my next of kin or any third party may suffer as a result of my participation in the event, including any wrongful act, omission, negligence, breach of contract, breach of any statutory or other duty of care, on the part of the Releasees.
