Academic Welcome Week: Faculty of Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship (STA) – Session One

Join us in the Don Lovisa Building at the Whitby campus for Academic Welcome Week, a series of events designed to introduce you to your faculty, program, and the Durham College (DC) community.

Welcome to the Faculty of Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship! Programs included in session one:
Carpentry and Renovation Technician
Carpentry – Building Construction Technician
Crane Operation, Rigging and Construction Techniques
Electrical Techniques
Electrical Engineering Technician
Gas Technician 2
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Techniques (HVAC)
Mechanical Techniques – Plumbing
Power Engineering Techniques – Fourth Class

We’re excited to help you start your DC journey with a warm welcome from your faculty, followed by your program-specific orientation session and end the experience with some social and wellness activities and a Vendor Fair to help you start strong. Enjoy light refreshments and snacks, receive swag items, and connect with your new peers.
