Rock Your Mocs

Established in 2011, Rock Your Mocs is a worldwide Native American and Indigenous Peoples social media unity event held annually during November, National Native American Heritage Month in the United States.

An expression of cultural pride, Rock Your Mocs invites participants to wear their moccasins and share photos on social media using #RockYourMocs, creating a worldwide online photo album that celebrates Indigenous identity, heritage, and unity. Through social media, Native American and Indigenous Peoples celebrate their cultures and express their inherent sense of identity and belonging. Individuals, organizations, businesses, schools, museums, and tribes are also encouraged to organize independent events in their communities and around the world.
