About this class Conceptualizing Cyberbullying: The intentions and the challenges Online bullying knows no borders. Such is the frequency and reach of our digital activities today that we are all its potential victims. With more of our time now spent online, the pandemic has only intensified the problem. In this class, we explore what constitutes cyberbullying, how it is different from bullying in real life, why its results can be especially harmful. With our guest, an award-winning doctoral student and lecturer at Daffodil International University in Bangladesh who is coordinating an international research initiative to study cyberbullying, we look at the intentions of the perpetrators of cyberbullying and the barriers its victims face in disclosing their issues.
