National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada. The day commemorates the 1989 murders at École Polytechnique de Montréal, where the lives of 14 women were tragically taken in a violent act of hate and misogyny.
