June is National Indigenous History Month

Every June, we take time to reflect and celebrate the contributions, culture, diversity, and history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada.

Each year, National Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated on June 21 to celebrate and honour the rich diversity and traditions of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis nations.
