Celebrate Science Literacy Week 2019

In recognition of Science Literacy Week in Canada (September 16 to 22), the Campus Library will host a number of on-campus events and activities from Monday, September 16 through Thursday, September 19.

Monday, September 16

Blood Typing Clinic I

Learn about your blood type and see how you match up to others. Snacks and light refreshments will be available.

Tuesday, September 17

Film screening and freshwater research presentation

Join us for an afternoon screening of the 2008 documentary Blue Gold: World Water Wars.

Ontario Tech University researcher Andrea Kirkwood, PhD, will also present a talk entitled Adventures in Freshwater Research: Connecting what we do on land to aquatic ecosystem health.

Please register online for the 1:15 p.m. or 2:45 p.m. tour.

Meet inside the front doors of the Oshawa Campus Library. Each tour will last approximately 75 minutes.
