Science Literacy Week Posted on October 7, 2025 at 12:20 pm. Science Literacy Week is a communications campaign to connect the public with educators, libraries, and government agencies. The week aims to encourage curiosity, celebrate Canadian science, and deepen public engagement in STEM learning. This year’s theme, “From Sea to Space,” takes you on a journey from the ocean’s depths to the far reaches of the universe. Explore the wonders of our world – beneath the waves and beyond the stars. Spanning the vastness of our oceans to the outer edges of our atmosphere, join the Library in discovering how science shapes our world. We’ve got an online trivia contest (enter directly or check out our Instagram stories), activities in the Library, and a tour of the Ontario Tech Aquatic Lab. SHARE:
