Durham College staff member to receive CMU-OCASA award for outstanding research

For the second consecutive year a Durham College administrator has been named the recipient of a prestigious provincial award for advanced studies. Kara Woods, human resources assistant, vice-president of Human Resources and a contract professor with Durham College’s School of Business, Information Technology & Management, will receive the fourth annual CMU-OCASA Research Award, which is given jointly by Central Michigan University and the Ontario College Administrative Staff Association (OCASA). Woods is being recognized for her Master’s degree capstone research paper on the study of faculty perceptions of group work in the classroom.
