July 2, 2008 OSHAWA, Ont. – More than 100 guests were on hand July 2 as John Milloy, the Ontario minister of Training, Colleges and Universities announced a $9 million government investment in the expansion of the Durham College Skills Training Centre at the Whitby campus. Minister Milloy was joined by Durham College President Don Lovisa; Joe Dickson, MPP for Ajax-Pickering and deputy government whip; Wayne Arthurs, MPP for Pickering-Scarborough East and parliamentary assistant to the provincial finance minister; and dozens of Durham College skilled trades students, faculty, staff and community guests for the announcement.
