Durham College and UOIT to reopen Saturday morning Posted on February 7, 2013 at 3:40 pm. Friday, February 8, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Durham College’s Oshawa and Whitby campuses and Pickering Learning Site will reopen at 6 a.m. on Saturday, February 9. The decision to reopen is based on Environment Canada’s forecast indicating that the snow will end this evening. All regularly scheduled classes and activities will resume on Saturday morning. Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Durham College and UOIT campuses, locations, buildings and learning sites will close at 2 p.m. today (Friday, February 8) due to inclement weather. Both institutions have been monitoring the weather and because it continues to get worse the decision has been made to cancel afternoon and evening classes. In addition, all assignment deadlines have been postponed until the college and university re-open.
