DC athletics returns to Rogers TV Posted on August 17, 2011 at 8:48 pm. Sports fans will once again have opportunity to catch the Durham Lords on TV as the Durham College athletic department and Rogers TV have agreed to broadcast a number of varsity events throughout the 2011/12 season. “We are very excited to have Durham College athletics back on Rogers TV ,” said Durham College athletic director Ken Babcock. “Their continued involvement with our varsity program speaks volumes of their commitment to amateur athletics across the Durham Region.” The soccer portion of the 2011/12 broadcast schedule has been released. Coverage will kick-off with the Campus Cup which is scheduled to take place at Vaso’s Field on Thursday, September 8 at 6 p.m. The Campus Cup is an exhibition showcase that takes place during orientation week featuring Durham College and the UOIT Ridgebacks men’s soccer teams.
