If the excitement unleashed through Twittersphere is any indication of what to expect at this year’s CampusFest then it’s sure to be the event of the year for Durham College students. On August 16, the Student Association announced that popular DJ Avicii would be headlining this year’s CampusFest concert as part of the Orientation Week festivities. The event will take place on Friday, September 7 from 4 to 10 p.m. outside of Polonsky Commons, which is located beside the Campus Library, and will also feature other acts including DJ Donny C, Grand Theft, and more. Tickets are now on sale in the Tuck Shop located in the Student Centre from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Durham College students may purchase tickets for $25 and may also purchase one guest ticket at a cost of $35. Tickets will be on sale until noon on September 7. Campus ID cards or printed copies of class schedules are required to prove student status.
