Durham College to honour best in class at annual scholarship ceremony

Event will recognize generosity of donors and academic excellence of students

OSHAWA, Ont. – Durham College President Don Lovisa will join deans, faculty and staff members and generous financial donors as 176 students are recognized for their significant academic accomplishments at the college’s annual scholarship ceremony being held on Thursday, November 18.

The event, which will see in-course scholarships valued at $130,000 presented to deserving students from the college’s Oshawa and Whitby campuses and Uxbridge location, will give students an opportunity to thank the more than 40 donors in attendance for their generous financial support and celebrate their academic success with family members and friends.

When:
Thursday, November 18
4 p.m. – Donor and recipient meet-and-greet
5 p.m. – Ceremony begins

Enter off Simcoe Street North or Conlin Road and proceed to Founders 3 parking lot.
