Gift will provide increased opportunities for students enrolled in automotive programs

WHITBY, Ont. – Media are invited to join representatives from Durham College, Volkswagen Canada and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities at Owasco VW this week when Volkswagen Canada will announce it is making a significant donation to the Durham College Skills Training Centre. The donation will increase hands-on training opportunities for students enrolled in automotive programs at the Whitby campus.

Durham College’s nationally acclaimed Skills Training Centre is increasingly attracting the interest of automotive industry experts such as Volkswagen Canada, an internationally renowned automobile manufacturer, because of the high-quality, state-of-the-art training it provides to students.
