This course will cover a wide variety of introductory topics in business and commerce, focusing on factors that affect the success of businesses in Canada. Students distinguish between the major functional areas of a business and explain how they interact. Students also describe different business types, business structures, and management techniques. Students discuss the impact of economics on businesses in Canada, using both micro and macroeconomics principles.
