Environmental and Occupational Management Systems

This course introduces the concepts of health, safety, and environmental management systems and the auditing process as beneficial to organizations. Students will be introduced to the steps in implementing and maintaining certification requirements for management systems. This course explores the practical aspects of management systems followed in Canada: Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001 and CSA: Z1000-14 as well as the Environmental Management System based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard requirements.
