Hazard and Risk Management

Students learn to identify hazards, analyze their potential impacts, and explore risk assessment strategies, techniques, practices, and methodology. Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Demands Analysis (JDA) will be applied to a variety of tasks in the work environment. This course will also explore different methods of controlling hazards, cost of managing risk, management of change, root cause analysis, as well as communicating risk to managers, stakeholders, and the general public.
