Animal Behaviour I

This introductory course provides students with a broad overview of the science based study of animal behaviour. This course will explain the importance of objective observations in the field of animal behaviour and will examine the role of evolution, genetics, physiology and stress impact in creating behaviour. There will also be emphasis on learning theory, in particular operant conditioning, and how it influences behaviour.
