Animal Care Field Placement Preparation

This course prepares students for their field placement experience. Students will learn about the roles and responsibilities of those in the animal care field, the various facilities and organizations that employ animal care workers, and the placement opportunities available to students in the program. Students will be introduced to placement search techniques, field placement learning objectives, roles of placement supervisors and college advisors. To succeed in this course, students will complete the steps required to pursue field placement as well as participate in various class activities and assignments.
