Colour Theory and Analysis

Students explore universally recognized approaches to colour theory as it applies to the beauty industry. This course examines colour variations in hue, value, intensity and examines how harmonies and colour reflectiveness affect visual images. Industry colour terminology is used to identify colour relationships and palettes. Students apply these principles to identify the role colour plays during colour consultations to achieve harmony, contrast and balance.
