Office Professionalism 1

Students will be introduced to the concepts of professionalism, professional standards and a code of ethics and how they apply to the workplace. With the mission and values of an organization in mind, students will learn to use interpersonal skills to communicate professionally, respond professionally to conflict, and contribute effectively as an individual and team member to the workplace's productivity. Through case studies, discussions, and self-reflection, students will explore, discuss, and review best practices regarding professional ethics and behaviour, confidentiality, quality customer service approaches, effective teamwork strategies, and presentation skills.
