Photo and Video 1

This course introduces students to basic principles of photography and video. Instruction will consider both the technical and visual components. Critical skills in understanding and interpreting visuals will also be taught. Students will receive instruction in the use of digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera for both photography and videography, including composition, shutter speed, depth of field and use of flash, as well as the basics of recording, shooting and editing video.
