Students explore the technical fundamentals of capturing still images using a mirrorless camera. The course is designed to provide a strong foundation in the practical aspects of camera operation. Topics include capture techniques, managing depth of field, colour space, optics, and image storage. Emphasis is placed on mastering effective camera control, such as understanding sensor settings, autofocus systems, and exposure control. This course also fosters critical thinking by evaluating both their own work and that of others.
