Employment Law

This course introduces students to the study of employment law and explores the judicial framework of courts and administrative systems and the legal requirements and legislation pertaining to all aspects of the employee life cycle from the hiring process through to terminations. The course examines legislation that affects employment including the Employment Standards Act, Ontario Pay Equity Act, Ontario Human Rights Code and more.
