Leadership and Management In Sport

Students examine the theories and practices of leadership and management in sport organizations. They learn how to apply strategic planning, organizational behaviour, diversity, equity and inclusion, and organizational culture concepts to sport settings. Students also explore the challenges and opportunities of leading and managing sport organizations in a dynamic and complex environment. Through case studies, simulations, and group projects, students develop skills and abilities to effectively lead and manage sport teams, programs, and events.
