This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and techniques of AutoCAD to support fire protection system design. The course covers basic AutoCAD commands used to draw, edit, and plot two-dimensional drawings, including layering schemes, dimensioning, crosshatching, linetypes, plotting drawings, and block management. Students will navigate and utilize the software to create architectural floor plans to apply basic fire protection design methodologies.
