This course provides PSI students with an opportunity to become effective learners through sourcing college support services, and developing and reflecting upon the necessary skills and strategies to deal with the challenges of the post-secondary education environment. Students will be exposed to techniques to assist in time management, organizational skills, note-taking, personal wellness and other self-management topics related to the successful completion of the fitness protocols in FITS1301 and FITS2303. Students will develop their basic computer and fitness skills, DC Connect, literacy and research skills. The proper use of APA citation and document formatting in essay writing is an ongoing focus in this course. The content of this course is designed to provide the student with a solid foundation for success in both their academic and fitness endeavors.
