Construction Materials and Testing

Students will have knowledge of the engineering properties, relevant specifications and applications of the key building materials, such as concrete, aggregates, soils, steel and wood. Through the integration of theory and lab exercises students will test, analyze and assess the key construction materials, using standard material testing methods with a focus on interpretation of results and effective documentation.
