This course will consist of two components; Electrical and Instrumentation: Electrical portion: Students will apply the theoretical knowledge to practical applications within the electrical field when using the training units. The students will operate and control electrical equipment that is used in the consumption (loads such as motors), creation (generators and alternators) and distribution (transformers) of electrical power. Instrumentation portion: Students will study Instrumentation terminology, P & I drawings, and symbols. They will use the instrumentation trainers to connect components, creating systems for the measurement and control of Pressure, Temperature, Level and Flow systems.
