Contracts and Torts 1

Students examine torts and contracts to assess the application of interpersonal rights and duties in the private sector, and to explore the enforceability of oral, written and implied contracts. Research opportunities support students to identify the elements of, and defences to, various causes of actions in the preparation of a memorandum of law, Statements of Claim and Defence and other routine legal documents.
