This course is designed to assist the student with his or her career planning and field placement. Students will update various resources to help promote themselves during a job search. This will include; their resumes, cover letters, portfolios with personal commercials and have an opportunity to practice interview skills. Students will also complete the necessary on-line certifications and documentation to ensure they are ready for their field placement. This course will examine the skills necessary to secure work through the resources they develop, understanding behavioural interview expectations and how to be successful in the work environment including: professionalism, networking and work etiquette. Time will be allocated to enable understanding of the requirements for field placement, opportunities available and how to secure opportunities.
