Professional Certifications

This course will offer students an inside look into emergency services careers through panel interviews with EMS professionals; practical experience in responding to job postings with writing cover letter and resume instruction; and preparing for the interview process. Students also earn vocationally relevant certifications from external bodies which demonstrate competencies that are well-regarded in the emergency and law enforcement services. Employers are seeking recruits who add value to the workplace through their training and experience, and their personal life-long learning activities. At course completion, students will demonstrate these attributes through their professional employment portfolio, 6 certifications, and the ability to apply and interview for a position in their chosen emergency service career path.
