Career and Field Placement Preparation

This course is designed to equip Behavioral Sciences Technician students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their field placements and future careers. Students will engage in activities focused on self-assessment, goal setting, and professional development. Key areas of focus include resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies, networking, and interview preparation. The course also emphasizes professionalism in the workplace. Students will complete the mandatory pre-placement e-learning modules as a requirement of this course as well as learn about the requirements for a successful field placement, and well-prepared to enter their field placements with confidence and a clear understanding of how to leverage these experiences for career advancement.
