The Private Law Of Torts and Contracts 2

This course builds upon the foundational course, The Private Law of Torts & Contracts 1. Students study of a variety of complex torts and contracts cases, consider the underlying policy for those decisions and examine the impacts on society that the rules of tort and contract establish for resolving disputes. Students engage in a complex review of the rules that exist in torts and contracts that help to regulate the resolution of disputes between individuals and private entities to better represent clients. Finally, students study a variety of emerging actions where the state of law in these fields remain in development.
